Hi All,
Looking for someone or a team to do some Marble Laying for a bathroom, some plumbing (fitting shower heads and taps etc.) and some plastering and painting.
As always, I'd like them to be really good!
It looks like Bayram comes highly recommended (if anyone has his Whatsapp, that would be great).
Any other recommendations would be much appreciated.

Umit is very good but I he seems very busy at the moment. I am in touch with him and reached out for a quotation a few weeks ago but nothing has materialised and I haven't heard so I need to get some other quotes to try and get things done sooner rather than later :)
Any other recommendations are greatly appreciated!
There are some very poor Marble layers, plumbers, plasterers and painters out there so the recommendations mean a lot.
The last painters I had were asked to take the fittings off (loosen the sockets, switches and light fittings) but on my return, it was painfully clear to see that they had elected to just leave it all on and paint over everything instead...madness. Countless hours were then spent over the next 7 days with a blade and wipes cleaning everything off as best we could. Very careless.

I know that he won't take on any noisy renovations before the end of the season, as he may have to stop the job if the neighbours complain, which he told me when I spoke with him y'day, to book him for my friend's bathroom job.

We used Bayram or possibly one of his brothers to plaster half a wall highly impressed with the work and also used them for some electrical work again very impressed, we shant bother trying anyone else now they will be our first port of call...

I have my bathroom worked a month ago, new tiles, toilet .. plastering, roof insulation.everything, I managed to get 5 or 6 offers from different people.
As Bayram was busy and his price was high I decided to find unrelated brothers of Bayram.
Managed through google translate and what ever language we could understand.
Price difference between Bayrams offer and the others for changing the bathroom entirely exclusive material was around 1500 Tl.
Bayram was going to profit only that by managing the whole work for me. Which is again not much.
I bought all materials my self.

I would also be interested to hear from people approximately what prices per m2 they have paid for Marble laying and plastering. It's important to know roughly what 1m2 is for these various trades to make sure quotes are in the right ball park! :)

The price by sqm for tiling is around 25 tl pr. Sqm. But only if you have a big project, for a single bathroom lets say 20 to 25 sqm. In total walls and floor the price you should pay is between 1500-2500 tl. All depends on you being able yo make a deal.
