I hate Indian call centres!  Just done another 10 rounds with the 3 call centre in India!
At least if you are in Turkey you can get someone to translate dor help you to understand.  Getting through to the Indians is a nightmare!
Am I on my own?

just hope to God you never have to speak to Dell customer services, takes an eternity to speak to anyone, they're difficult to understand and absolutely useless

One of the wonderful things about the UK in my opinion is Virgin Media, but their call centre leaves a lot to be desired. Luckily you rarely need to call. Actually, there's only two things wrong with it; I can't understand a word they say, and they can't understand a word I say.

After a number of frustrating conversations with Indian call centres I went to all my service providers and anyone who had an Indian call centre I closed my account and moved to organisations with UK based call centres. My biggest problem with Indian call  when I was getting so frustrated with when I went to let off steam the Indian person did not react.

HSBC was a gamble as to who would answer my call.I would dial the customer service centre and if the reply was an Indian voice I would ask where are they based and if they said India I would put the phone down and dial again. Eventually I would get through to someone based in the UK.

I feel sorry for those people in call centres as they are probably paid peanuts and work very long hours. They work to a crib sheet and if it is anything that is not covered by the crib sheet then they are in big trouble. They will use any excuse to cut you off. If you say something like "this is bloody ridiculous" that is it you have sworn at them and they end the call.

I had a very strange and unsolicited call the other day, and it was a like having a conversation with Stephen Hawking. The voice seemed to be simulated.  I commented to Tony maybe it was from India and their way of stopping you from putting the phone down. Has anybody else experienced this[?]
