Who will be the first to post a review on a Turkish toilet?

http://www.toiletinspector.com/

Read the full table - the Emporium in Fleet gets a particularly good review (not). Some bad language!

I actually thought of setting up a similar website on toilets of the world as my missus always seems so preoccupied with them.

It seems to make so much difference to a woman than a man (for obvious reasons).

when we went to bulgaria, you had to pay to go to the loo, even in bars !! We found out later in the week from a waitress that the woman sat collecting money and handing out toilet paper was nothing to do with them, they just turn up and stand out outside taking money ! In a mafia run country police have better things to do and turn a blind eye so the bar owners can't shift them

Bulgaria is the only place I have been where it cost more to let it out than to put it in - i.e. "pint" of beer 40p, toilet charge 50p. That's a lot of p for a pee.

My mother was thinking of writing the book - but never got round to it. She's been "Collecting?" them for years.  The ones in Northern France seem to be the strangest; much worse than Turkey.  We stayed at the BP Mocamp outside Istanbul & she was amazed at the cleanliness.
The cleaning lady even put tape across the pan when it had been scrubbed.

We found some beauties in Thailand. No flush - just a big tub of water and a pan next to the loo. A lot with no loo roll - just a shower to use as directed.

As I said - men OK but women struggle a little.
