What constitutes a good old proper Sunday dinner? I couldn't be bothered having a roast today so I had Black Pudding and fried eggs on toast:D

I'm surprised to see black pudding appearing on tv shows like Masterchef, it does seem to have a part to play in Gordon Blue cooking, as well as being food for the masses (like Russ). I'm a big fan, I am also a big fan of Marks & Spencer for food - but the two together don't work - M&S black pudding is foul [xx(]

Got to be roast beef, yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings especially in the winter. It was so nice today we sat outside for Lunch and just shared a lovely roast chicken  8)

Have to agree with you there Keith. Black Pudding has to be the original "Bury" Black Pud:D

We never bother even thinking about Sunday Dinner in Turkey, it's only in the U.K. we have a roast on Sunday.   I think it must be the warm weather cannot face a huge roast dinner.

Must agree - we would not seek out a Sunday roast in Turkey unless we were staying for a few months and started to get withdrawal symptoms ;)

Turkey for us = fresh eggs, fresh bread, lots of local cheese, fish, kebabs, pide, lamb shanks and barbecues :)

As a vegetarian we still have a Sunday roast with all the trimmings but instead of meat we have a it with a mushroom toad in the hole.
