Excellent argument by Stephen Fry, he is a very intelligent man.  I would love to see the arguments put forward by Anne Widdecombe and the Catholic Cardinal.

Mike, thank you very much for pointing the way toward the most riveting, thought provoking condemnation of the most corrupt religion in the entire world. I have long been an admirer of Stephen Fry's debating skills, & this speech, hopefully, will enlighten many people as to the unspeakable dogma that passes for a religion. I agree wholeheartedly with the opinion that Jesus, (a REAL historical figure), would NEVER, EVER, be allowed over the threshold of a Catholic church.
These are my own sentiments, by the way, & if I have upset any catholic Forum members, TOUGH.
Eric, I noticed that Widdecombe was the only member of the 'panel' who did not applaud.
Gordy.

I trust more of what he says than I do of any religious leader.

Beautifully crafted and delivered. How can we ever think we are intelligent when there is Fry about? :D

I tried to ignore the papal bandwagon but the statement about Britain's aggressive secularism really made me angry.
When I saw that woman voluntarily place her child into the pontiffs arms a cold chill ran up my back.
I thank Stephen Fry for putting my feelings into word, and feel much happier now the homophobic misogynist has gone.
