Stupid questions

Maybe this should be posted in the Grumpy Old Men Section but I don't want to be accused of hogging that part of the Forum.

It's just that I seem to be hearing these more and more these days.

A couple of examples:

1. Our Finance Director's response to me advising her that I had lost my office keys:

"Where did you lose them ?":(

2. BBC interviewer to the Chilean President

"How much did the rescue operation cost":(

(Thankfully, the answer was "It doesn't matter").

I am sick of idiot interviewers asking someone who has just broken a World record or saved the planet "How does it feel?".

Also, not a question but sales pitches on "The Apprentice" are beginning to irritate me. These brightest of business prospects are pitching to the top buyers for massive companies like Boots the Chemist. They are professional buyers and adults. With their invention of a roll up towel with a compartment for your bottle of water or car keys, do they really believe the way to impress the cream of the High Street national buyers is to open with "We believe the age of the beach towel is dead"???

Utter worthless drivel :-\

"Why is it that the missing oblect is always in the last place you think of looking[?]"

Bl**dy obvious!  When you find it you stop looking

The one that bugs me is "When did you get here?"
Does it really matter as long as they have arrived!

My husband infuriates me when I have lost my purse, car keys reading glasses etc yet again by asking "where did you have them last"? His annoying question from me is "where are my car keys. Reading glasses etc? about 10 times a day. ( he says)!!
