I was thinking about you the other day and wondering when you arrive. Good luck, the last few days are the hardest! See you soon.

Thank you Linda,

Feels a bit like we are in the 'eye' of a tornado. It has been manic for some time and now we are in limbo, wondering if BG or Virgin will cut off our services before we actually leave, what clothes we need to leave out prior to departure etc. All that said, it is really exciting if a bit scary !

George
Keep your loud patterned shirts, tank tops, kipper ties, flair trousers etc, they could come in handy for a 70's night in Calis  8)

Please be assured that my concern about your move is genuine. Go away Tinx !

So many second hand clothes here between all the charities, I wish I'd brought less clothes and more home basics like baking trays that are really expensive here!

We are deficiently on that page Linda, we are lucky to have wardrobes full of clothes already there in Calis so the suitcases are full of things like food steamer, blender, Wii, lap top. Ipad etc. Good tip about the baking trays, might get some of those silicone ones which will help with the weight.

Any other tips welcome, keep em coming.

Good luck with that. In my case, all 4 utlities were contacted around a month before I left the house, only BT, who do things remotely, took any action. Apparently, both Eon & Yorkshire Water had unspecified "emergencies" & failed to turn up.
