Near the Hamam in Fethiye the is a large Jewellers on the corner that sells Tags, Breitlings etc.
When i checked out the prices a while back they were cheaper than duty free and also exchange rate is now better. Remember if paying by debit/credit card many banks impose  overseas transaction fees so you would need to take this into account as well  :)

You're less likely to get a fake at Duty Free and your guarantee is more likely to be recognised.

Fake TAG & Omega are very easy to spot though, there are only 4 shops in Fethiye that are Approved dealers.

Nick is a bit of a watch fanatic. He has a Tag and a Baume and Mercier both from Infinity, Fethiye and both cheaper than he could of bought elsewhere. The Baume and Mercier I bought for him and when we took it to get a new strap a few months ago it had increased significantly in value.

Check out your local Auction lots have specialist jewellery sales and they do have all the famous brand watches and they will guarantee them as genuine and you will get a full receipt.   I saw a Rolex at Auction and it made £3,000 I saw the same Rolex on-line for £6,500.
Also check out the online Outlet shops.  Brand Alley have Tag Watches today along with lots of other brands.

Cant remember which one but it was a jewellers on a corner in the old town. Salesman stopped me outside and told me my TAG was a fake and his were the real thing. Needless to say he got  nowhere! Then he back tracked and said the strap was wrong for the watch even though it came with it brand new! Idiot!

Personally I'd go duty free for security or wait while you go to the States. Much cheaper out there. Or second hand as long as you know what to look for fake wise.

I already have a Rolex Oyster Air King, which is going in for a service and new glass hence looking for Omega or TAG, unless the submariner is a good price
Thanks
