We have three cats, and during the summer we rarely see them - they pop in and out for meals and just to check on us, but otherwise they are found in the fields behind the house and asleep in the farmers hay barn. Now the weather is cooler, they are home and back to their usual cuddly selves. Mumsie's neighbour has a white cat, to our knowledge he not only lives at number 8, but has breakfast with my Mum in number 7, cuddles and sleeps at number 6 AND has a food bowl in number 5 !!!
