Les Miserables movie

I saw this today fantastic not a dry eye in the cinema, Hugh Jackman the performance of his career, dont know if better than the stage but very good.

I always feel music is very personal.   `Phantom` ( seen the show 5 times ) and `Love never dies` ( seen once so far  ) to me they are the  tops and the  greatest musical and spectacle ever to grace the west end  :-)
I  haven`t seen `Les Mis` as a show, or the movie, as a spectacle they say its brilliant, but I have listened to the tracks from the soundtrack  and I wasn`t impressed :-(     ( only 2 worthy tracks throughout )  whereas in `Phantom` and `Love never dies there are countless lovely tracks which a good musical needs . Anyway I  am in the minority it seems on here and elsewhere .. but I  dont fancy the storyline or the music to `Les mis` so I  am going to give it a miss :-)

Give it a go, I doubt you will be disappointed and watching the songs in conjunction with the storyline will put them into context.

Yea    my other half said she might watch it on a ( dvd turkish style   )   when we are out there in Feb ... surely our `turkish supplier` will have a copy of it by then.. if not now   lol

I downloaded last night and whipped through just to check it,  looks and sounds good, but having just watched the Liam Neesom (non musical version) which is excellent, I am thinking I could be a little disappointed.
