Well we really liked it, going in the afternoon we were part of a quite mature audience, all very well behaved! You could hear a pin drop apart from the sniffles throughout and everyone clapped at the end. I agree it was a little long and there was definitely a bit in the middle where people got twitchy. Very moving film - as was the theatre production (that I remember)! The only fly in the ointment for me was the voice of Russell Crowe, awful. On the other hand Eddie Redmayne's voice was a revelation, what a talented young man.
