Want a decorative bird???
« on: April 04, 2013, 13:54:36 PM »
Went to Lidl's this morning and they had large metal birds to put in the garden for only £9.99. As the fake heron we have near our pond is just about done (with all the bad weather)  I bought a Heron.  I have to say it is better than I expected it to be and even has moving wings (they have springs underneath).  I think I paid around £18.00 for the plastic heron we had previously, so this was a great bargain.  However, there are other birds available, but I bet they will sell out quickly.

Well, the pictures Lidl's used do not do them justice, there are a couple that are not good, but there are some that are. The Heron looks better than my previous one... However, judge for yourselves and if future go and have a look first before you dismiss them.  Even the real Mrs Bucket would like this bird.

It was only a joke Jacqui.  I have actually seen them and I didn't dismiss them. Lidl do some good deals and they look really lovely in your garden there. Bargain.   :)
