Weather in gods own country

Not many of our Scottish friends commenting about the horrific weather in gods own country as they call it, just seen the pictures, and sadly someone was killed too. hope there is no more fatalities.

Horrendous wind and rain in our area last night. Sounds as though there has been some structural damage.

Our power at home off for the second time. :(

Very severe here too - the wind was incredible and we're quite used to windy days here. Then snow blizzards. Then blinding sun rays. Then snow again. Now, no weather to speak of.

Been getting steadily worse here in York. Everything intact up to now apart from our bins. Solar panels still on. Mind you if they go they will take the whole house with them I think as they are tied to the rafters!

We seem to have had the tail end of the bad weather, windy, cold and snowy, but not as bad as some parts of Scotland.   My Son in Law is stuck out in the North Sea, he was due home today, but the weather out there is too bad.
I braved the weather and went out to feed the birds and our lovely Pheasant "Ginger"  so brownie points for me.
