Welcome Back HIGNFY
« on: April 05, 2014, 11:47:33 AM »
A new series of Have I Got News For You started last night. It began rather slowly with poor monologues from a Labour Shadow Minister but soon got into its stride and had me rocking with laughter. By the time we got to the "Odd One Out" round, featuring a certain R.T. Erdogan (who was indeed the odd one), my ribs hurt from laughing too hard. If you missed it and have access to BBC iPlayer I recommend it to you.

We also love it and record all the older ones on Dave.  We could watch them over and over and still laugh.
I was really surprised to read that Ian and Paul get £40,000 each for every programme recorded. Great wages.

No disagreement from me - one of the best shows on TV.

I didn't however take to the MP on last night - I got the distinct feeling that he had been coached before going on.

£40k a programme, blimey that's better than footballers make, and they don't need to train or travel to far flung places like Sunderland, Liverpool or Manchester.  Oh might as well throw in Leeds too, just to keep Stoop interested!!    ;) ;D ;D

But at least Hislop & Merton entertain, more than can be said for most of the premiership players   ;)

Oh Liz, I did not realise you liked football and had some expertise... Please join us on the Football section, we could do with another woman to keep me company. ;D  ;)
