VAT on E books

We are going to pay more for ebooks from Amazon. Those morons at the EU have changed the VAT rules. Now, you have to pay VAT in the country you buy in (UK 20%), not where Amazon resides (which is Luxembourg at 3%), so VAT is now exclusive instead of inclusive i.e. added on the top of the price of an ebook, which means you pay 17% more in UK! Somebody has to pay for all these government cuts!
