Travel Kit

Things to take on a journey that are easily forgotten. Whenever I fly, no matter how clean the airport and the plane, I always arrive with dirty fingernails (how do I manage that?). So a nail file and nail brush are travel essentials for me. What about you?

An easily found can of Lynx (100ml or less) in hand luggage. No idea how I get to feel so grubby on the transfer and a quick spray is useful and very pleasant     :)

Stay at the Sensatori Jacqui - the reports are they have a few. And slow barmen, slow waiters...  ;)

We usually bring some ant killer in the lttle round packs that you just put down in the garden.
We forgot a couple of years ago and tried the Yapi Market.  The guy got us a packet of powder and I asked if it killed the ants.  He told us it would not kill them, but would make them go away??  I asked him did that mean they all packed their cases and went next door  :)

I was thinking rather more of the kit you would take onto the plane with you, not put in the hold. I hope some of the items people have mentioned wouldn't be needed on the plane.

I bought a couple of those two pin headphone adapters that only become necessary on planes, because I refuse to pay the airline for headphones. As Colwyn is looking for things easily forgotten, I don't think I have ever remembered these, even once.
