Efes Q2 net profit jumpsEfes Q2 net profit jumps Anadolu Efes, Turkey's largest brewer, said its second-quarter profit almost doubled as a record heat wave helped boost domestic beer sales. The brewer's net income climbed to YTL 156.7 million, up from YTL 85.1 million in the previous year's period, according to an income statement published Tuesday. Revenue rose 15 percent to YTL 933.5 million. Anadolu Efes controls 80 percent of Turkey's beer market, and reaps higher profit margins there than in its international operations.
