I have just read in the Latest edition of The Post that Olu Deniz is hosting gold diggers on the beach using metal detectors in the winter. It seems the tide brings in to the shore many items lost in the water.
However I was told some time ago it was illegal to bring into or use metal detectors in Turkey. Is it true...has the law changed...or are they in fact breaking the law[?]
