following on from the advice given that green cards don't cover turkey (except istanbul) and that I can purchase basic insurance at port of entry (which doesn't seem to cover much if anything). I tried to arrange cover in uk only axa seem to do this at 3 times my yearly cover. my question is this as non-residents can now purchase cars can I insure my car while in turkey for the time I am there as it maybe cheaper ? has anyone else tried this? thanks for any guide/help on this.[8]
