When Turkish men meet friends they kiss to each side of the face. Many British men are very uncomfortable with this and prefer to shake hands - often from a full arm's length away. If you are a British man - do you kiss when meeting male Turkish friends? If you are Turkish - are you offended when male British friends refuse to greet you in the customary fashion (and seem to think it is "odd")?
