Hi All,

Hot news. I have got the cleanest, most hard working, understanding, interior painters in Calis. They are painting four floors a multitude of colours what with bedrooms etc for 900 lira. The bargain of the century me thinks. When finished tomorrow I will publish their phone number. Bloody brilliant.

What do you want your floors painted for? All that nice marble & wood being painted??

Linda I think nirvana means her house is over four floors not the actual floors but yes I'll be watching to see how many rooms etc too :)

Hi All,

Long awaited reply is this:

Four bathroom ceilings, four stairway ceilings, two en-suite ceilings, four bedrooms walls and ceilings, basement walls and ceilings, lounge walls, ceilings, coving and ceiling mouldings.

And yes it included paint all for 900 lira. I will give out the number privately by e-mail should anyone require it. I will not give it out to some who have decided to show attitude towards my posting and took the fun out of it. That does not include the postings shown here.

Glad your comment was tongue in cheek Linda, because I read it as painting four floors (floor areas) rather than four floors (four levels of a house) and I wasn't doing so tongue in cheek [:o]

Superb price, great news for CBF members and hopefully great news for the painters  :)

I trust they are also tidy - Rimms and I recall the days when having something painted took a day, leaving you with 5 days of scraping up paint drips off your ceramics and marble with a razor blade!

Sounds good to me - we paid £250 for one downstairs room and loo, stairs, landing and two bedrooms (including ceilings). Paint was included but it was a real mess with bits missed etc. We complained and to be fair it was re- done correctly and all the paint was removed from the places that should not have been painted.

I'll be emmailing you for the guys number (you never know we might want the floors painting next-lol).

Nirvana - what exactly is your problem with KKOB - thats at least 3 separate threads you have had a go at him.  As has been said on numerous times before, personal insults are not welcome on this forum.  
Where are the mods - surely this kind of personal attack of a forum member should not be tolerated
