Title: Malt Extract

I wanted to try a recipe for Fruit Malt Loaf.  But I couldn't find Malt Extract anywhere.  I have now tried Carob Pekmez (molasses) in place of the Malt, and it is not bad.  Worth a try.

Thanks Amanda.   I never used it in the UK, but then, I could buy Malt loaf in the UK.....  If you have space, I would really appreciate it.  If not, I am in UK in August and will get some then.

As a kid we used to have a spoonful of Malt Extract every before school. I loved it so much I used to raid the cupbaord for an extra spoonful.

I remember having a spoonful of codliver oil and malt every day.  Loved it.  Bought some for sons, thinking it would be their thing.  It wasn't...


So, what could I do?  -Shame to waste it......:P
