A great loss yesterday as singing legend Etta James died at the age of 73 with complications relating to leukemia; a multiple Grammy-winner, she was ranked 22nd on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Greatest Singers of all Time.

A true music legend.   Possibly THE most favorite artist of mine, she gave me so many wonderful memories and was such an influence in my younger years.  A sad loss, but what a legacy she has left us all.  Sweet dreams to an incredible talent.
