Title: The Golden Age of the Album February '13

Sorry it's a bit belated, but throughout the whole month of February '13, BBC Radio 2 and BBC4 are producing all sorts of programmes revisiting the golden age of the 33.3 RPM vinyl disc that was the long player or the album.

So if you are of a "certain age", tune in  and remember those hours sat in the front room with your mates, ritually extracting these black discs from their sleeves, blowing the dust off a stylus and listening to the opening crackles coming through your Wharfedales or posing around your school with the latest release under your arm with it's iconic art worked sleeve being shown off as a badge of "coolness" (or was that just me !    :)).

Seriously though, some great items thus far and the months got a way to go yet, enjoy !.    :)
