Title: Searching for recommendations for a sea view apartment for family

Hi firstly can I just say how great this forum is - really helpful information!
We're visiting Calis Beach this summer and I wondered if any members had an apartment with a sea view 1st floor and above for a family of four (two adults and two children 7 and 4) We like the look of Seaside and Sunset but I wasn't sure if they were too big or too far away from everything else - we don't want to have to pay for taxis home from the restaurant every evening.
Hope I've posted this in the right place...and hoping someone can advise or even has an apartment to let themselves! Our dates are 23rd July to Aug 6th.

Hi Gigi and welcome.
Seaside and Sunset Beach are not far from everything.  A 10-15 minute stroll to the beginning of the Prom from Sunset or if you have walked to the other end, there are Dolmus running regularly to get back.  I believe Seaside is even closer and very near to the Dolmus station - someone on here will correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes Seaside is closer to the action than Sunset.

Try Summer apartments, there are some on holidaylettings, or just search on line with the name a few up for rent, very close to prom and resaurants, about 5 minute walk to beach, dolmus runs outside regularly, and some top floors have lovely sea views. Great size apartments for a family.

Hi thanks everyone for your help - so are Summer Apartments closer to the Prom than the other two? Not sure about leading the kids along a bumpy track with no lights at night!

we have a place at sunset and the walk back at night from prom with no bother can be busy with traffic along the beach section from seaside to sunset particularly at the weekends when the locals are on the beach.
There are plenty of apartments both at sunset & seaside on holiday lettings and owners direct that might interest you 
summer apartments are further back from the seafront but very nice as well.
Any of the complexes would be great place to stay.  diana

In m opinion Summer Apartments are closer to the prom, and also we have felt safer walking back to them than the others recommended, if you google them you will be able to see them all on there.
