Title: Vets in fethyie
Post by: academylin on October 09, 2015, 09:13:31 AM
Hi, can anyone recommend a good vet in Fethyie or Calis please. Our last vet in Marmaris is/ was great, but it's too far to take the dog for check ups.

Thanks

Most reccomended is Serkan which is passed Tansas on the way to Fethiye from Calis, same side and about 500 metres further on, Kentvet are also very good which is by Migros as you come into Fethiye on the same road.

Serkan is a great vet, a lovely guy and genuinely loves animals.
He has looked after ours from the start, including major traumas with one of the cats who had a badly broken jaw (either hit by a scooter or kicked) and one of the dogs who picked up some infection and very nearly was no longer with us.

Treatment has been first class and the bill has always surprised me (in a good way).
Depending on where you live, he may also come to your house for routine stuff like vaccinations, which can make life a bit easier!

Serkan was great when we brought Daisy back to live with us in the Uk she was really poorly and in a bad way. She had lived on the streets in Ovacik for 2 years and we could not leave her behind when we sold. She has a great life now. Does anyone remember her?
