Title: Alla Turka - Glasgow (Annual Christmas Meet 2015)

With the sad closure of the magnificent Anatolia Chargrill in Glasgow we ended up booking Alla Turka - last time we were there must have been around 2006 - we were on a visit FROM Turkey then. I recall it being pleasant, friendly but while the food was good it was no match for the "real thing" in Turkey (obviously).

Well how things have changed. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the standards set by the Anatolia but no need. An amazing Meze selection tray for 2 to start - amazing. Nearly everyone went for the Mixed grill for main and the Adana Kebap was equal to any I have had and a superb choice of dish.

Brilliant night as usual, and one of the weekends we really look forward to each December - our Glasgow break  :)

Damn, missed it again. 

Mind you, the choice of Glasgow v Jerez left only one winner  :)

I note in Loz's last photo that, unknown to us at the time, an apt giant I See Faces made an appearance on the wall.

Just bring yer sleeping bags, loads of room  ;)

Only problem is you'd have to put up with non stop fiesta, cheap wine & beer, excellent tapas and a distinct lack of Adana kebabs...

John, Tapas, San Miguels, and fiestas sound just prefect. We could all stay til Three Kings, Los Reyes and we could REALLY party lol
