Title: Liverpool v Mn Utd
Post by: alixandria on January 17, 2016, 17:42:22 PM
I'm a Man U fan as is hubby and watched the game today. We were so pleased to see Wayne scoring
the winner. We both tho wondered why did Liverpool sack Brendan Rodgers and replace him with someone that is no better? Rodgers lost through no fault of his own his two best strikers purely through blackmail and money as far as we can see. When he cannot replace them for like for like and get the same results they sack him and replace him with someone that can do no better. Liverpool are a poor average team now and will stay that unless they wake up. Man U are not a great team yet but we are getting there with van Gaal and will only get better. Will Liverpool get better ever ?

Brendan Rodgers was miles out of his depth at Liverpool. Suarez covered that up but when he went the truth was exposed. No managerial skills, no tactical knowledge.

And where are Liverpool now ?

After 12 weeks of Klopp you mean?

Yeah he has had more than enough time to completely turn the club round

Luis Suarez has hailed the impact former boss Brendan Rodgers has had on his career, and credits the Liverpool FC manager for bringing the best out of him at Anfield.
Fact I believe.
It was only that Suarez wanted to go to Barcelona so desperately that he actually left. via the World Cup fiasco. How can you blame Rodgers for that or the blackmail that Raheem Sterling placed on the club.

You have lost me, I don't recall claiming any of that.

Who is blaming gorgeous Brendan not me.  I was'nt the one who implied he was out of his depth. I think he  was doing a good job after losing the beat forwards he had. How would Barcelona cope without Messi or Real Madrid without Ronaldo or even Bale. How has Kluff done better? Please tell everyone.

I'm actually not particularly interested so I'll decline your kind offer to explain my thoughts on your topic, thanks.

Funny that, it's what I say when people have an opinion and try to ram it down everyone's throat.

Kloop had got all the players chasing the ball and really putting an effort in, this was not happening under Rogers in the last 6 months. Liverpool were easily the better team today and in the week. This is massive improvement

Is that why it ended 0-1 to Man U.
Roll on the next game then   :)

1. Set out an argument
2. Someone doesn't agree
3. Get really aggressive with that person

That's the future of online discussion perhaps

Why would a man who is losing the battle want an argument? A man who is losing would want anything but an argument. Welcome to Planet Alixandria.

The technical term you are looking for (while being hugely off topic while accusing others of being so) is uploaded.

And no, it's something you do, not me.

Blimey that was a fun thread to follow ... Her Maj may have a bit of younger competition.  Having said that, where has Her Maj gone.  Seems that we have not heard from her for a while?

And back on topic.  One good year in the Budesliga or a couple of years carrying bags for the speckled one Maureen, does not a good PL Manager make.

On the subject of managers I think that goal of Rooneys, might possibly have saved Van Gaals job
