Food from the old days
« on: August 12, 2006, 20:10:31 PM »
Today, I had bacon ribs and cabbage for lunch, it struck me that this used to be a staple food in Liverpool, along with Scouse, Pea & Ham Shank soup, Potatoe Cakes, Cod Roe - on toast.

My Mum & Dad used to eat stuff like, Pigs Feet, Oxe Tongue, Tripe, Salt Fish etc......

With all of the 'fast food' we have available today, just wondered what local favourites will be lost in your area.
