Children's TV channel Boomerang is to edit scenes from Tom and Jerry cartoons where characters are shown smoking.
The move follows an investigation by media watchdog Ofcom into a viewer's complaint that the vintage animations were not appropriate for young viewers.
Well, we can't find funds to be able to stop teenagers making neighbours lives a misery, but it is justifiable to spend YOUR money on investigations by government quango's into whether ONE person is correct to complain about TWO five second scenes where drawn animals are seen with a cigarette - one released in 1949 and the other in 1950.
Strangely, an era when children were brought up with respect and manners.
I must go now, I have to go and smash someone in the face with an iron as they come round the corner at speed - I believe such an act will cause their face to become iron shaped.
