I've just read that British Gas owners Centrica, are to raise cost of gas by 12.4% & electricity by 9.4% as of Monday 4th September. This comes after a 22% increase in energy bills in March of this year.British Gas customers have seen their bills rise by 87% for gas, & 56% for electricity since January 2003!!!! Doesn't it make you glad that you live in Turkey, or does this mean yet another exodus of dissillusioned Brits deserting a very quickly sinking ship??
Mind you, I suppose if you happen to be amongst the recently welcomed "Friends of Europe" who have found your way to Britains "Welfare for the undeserving," Heaven,You will have it paid for by your British friends!!
