What is the criteria for a non Turk to set up their own business thus working as self employed person.

you have to set up the business first, then the business has to apply for your work permit and you still must have a Turkish employee.
You would still need a diploma etc and you still cant do the job of the protected sector like engineer or lawyer etc.

you can actually buy kosher diplomas these days. All above board and fully regognised as they award them on life experience. Although I tried to get a phd on nuclear physics but they didnt give it to me.
