aaaanyway! Whilst over in Fethiye this year I did notice billboards advertising IKEA furniture and from what I could see, it looks as though the affordable IKEA furniture, won't be so affordable in Turkey.

They built an Ikea in my home town.........right on my route home from work, a previous 20 minute journey now takes an hour! and they have practically put the local Sainsbury's out of business as no-one wants to have to re-enter a gridlocked roundabout with 4 lots of yellow boxes and 2 give way exits from Ikea onto it!

Aside from that I always feel like a prisoner in the place as once they got you they dont' wanna let you go!!!   [:(!]
That's my rant for the day!!

IKEA. Furniture that was/is designed by braindead yuppies who think a
tea chest is a three piece suite and a stool is a double bed. Do I like it NO. Give me a nice comfy setee I can cuddle up to with my other half anyday. IKEA Probably German yuppies by the design. if Germany ever had yuppies  :)

I've been once in England, the restaurant's ok, but i think the furniture is crap, i dont even like their catalogue, it's all tacky, but expensive, i got rid of a lot of that type of stuff when i moved out full time, cos i wanted the apartment to look like a home and not a ski chalet, Alan
