Calis Carnival Charity Promises Auction update
« on: October 09, 2007, 09:50:42 AM »
And still the promises come flooding in. The Carnival Committee would like to thank everyone for being so generous and we do hope that everyone will be able to support us on the night.

Also don't forget that if you are unable to be at the Nil restaurant in Calis on 25 October (8 pm) when our very own David Dickenson will be banging away with his gavel, then you can leave a commission bid through the "contact us" page on our website www.caliscarnival.com

All of the proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Carnival's chosen charities - to help deprived and disadvantaged children in the Calis area.

If I leave a bid and am successful, will I still be able to obtain my auction win next year?   We will not be over again until next June, but would like to bid on some items.
Have asked this question directly to the website, but have not received a reply, I realise they must be very busy.
Jacqui.

Hi Jacqui, an e-mail has just been sent to you from the site and gives full details of how to make a commission bid and how we are dealing with payments from winning bidders.

Most of the Promises will be available for anytime in 2007/2008 unless specifically stated otherwise.

Happy Bidding and thanks for your support  :)

Thanks for that, but have not received an email.  Look forward to getting one so I can get instructions on how to bid.

Log on to the carnival site.....click suggestions box on the left hand side.....1st item on the page tells you how. :)  You will then have to click on the contact us box to find out what the email address is

Why don't the organizers make life easy and just post the information here.?(Excluding the email address of course) 8)
