That was a polite answer! The point I am making is that I am delighted to add all relevant local events to the CBF calendar. That is the reason I added the calendar. I don't add anything without people wanting it to be listed!
I don't have time to read everything every day and often don't get on for 3 or 4 days on end. I read all emails and ask that people request addition of events that way. Depending on me to assume that something should be added even though nobody asked for it to be is not a system that will work efficiently.
If people don't email, I assume they don't want it listed. I don't automatically add everything I see, but I do automatically add the events that people ask to be added.
