Charity Promises Auction Results

That was the staggering total that we raised at last night's charity auction

The Carnival Committee are totally overwhelmed at the generosity of both the donors and the bidders and we can not thank you all enough.

Every lira of this money is now nicely tucked up in a high interest account making even more money for the Carnival charities - deprived and disadvantaged children in the Calis area.

Over 200 people crowded into the Nil Bar as Calis's own orange man, David Dickie Dangler Dickinson auctioned over 70 "Promises".

A number of commission bids had been received throughout the week via the Carnival website and on the night there was a bidding frenzy as everyone present tried to outbid each other and the commission bids to snap up a bargain.

Everyone seemed to have a really good time and the final result made it all worthwhile.

Thank you everybody for your support, we could not have done it without you.

Not just us Keith, everyone on the committee worked really hard and there would have been no auction if it hadn't been for the people who promised and the bidders on the night.  

A big thank you to all you guys out there (and we hope to see some of you at the car boot tomorrow)
