Michael Owen framed signed photograph
« on: November 03, 2007, 17:29:21 PM »
A framed and signed photograph of footballer Michael Owen will be auctioned off at the Calis Children In Need Fun Night at the Shamrock Irish Bar on Friday 16 November.  The event which kicks off at 8 pm is organised to coincide with the BBC's Children In Need charity night in UK.  The evening will consist of a fun quiz, lots of party games, killer Pool and Darts competitions, Karaoke and lots more surprises.  The Calis Carnival's official mascot, Tommy Turtle the Carnival Carretta is also planning to make his debut appearance.  All money raised will go towards the carnival charity - helping deprived and disadvantaged children in the Calis area. :D

The signed photograph is an action shot of Owen celebrating his hat trick goal against the Germans :D The photograph comes with a certificate of authenticity, it is 100% genuine.

I don't know if this has been suggested but could these auction items be put on the website as well?  People could put their bids via email.  Winning bidders if in the UK could collect when they come over to Turkey and pay by Paypal (adding a little bit of course to cover paypal fees!).

Hi Lynn, I don't know if you were aware of the recent Promises Auction when we auctioned over 70 lots and we took commission bids via the carnival website which was very, very successful - albeit a lot of hard work  - but worth every bit of it for the end result - 8,327 ytl all for the childrens charities :D

The framed signed photograph along with a 6 hour fishing trip for 4 people are two items that we will be auctioning at the Shamrock Bar on 16 November as part of the Calis Children in Need fun night and these items will not be auctioned via the internet.  However if you have someone here who you would like to bid for you........?

For those who enjoyed the Promises Auction we intend to hold another one at the beginning of June as part of Carnival week and yes you will be able to bid on the internet for this one - although we would rather see you all out in Calis for this week :D:D:D
