I'm coming over on 28th Jan and..
« on: November 07, 2007, 21:59:49 PM »
I have never been over at this time of year before and so I don't really know what to expect. I will be over just for a week to chill out after the Christmas frenzy and to do a bit DIY to my place.

I will be bringing along a fleece or 2, is there anything else I should bring? Oh and would it be possible for me to hire a twist & go scooter at this time of year?

Can't wait.. as usual. and for those who are wondering, I got the flight for £98 return with TC... a good price I think. :)

It'll be really useful during the powercuts.  ;)

A duvet and a hot water bottle will do the job I'm sure.  Is the Fethiye B&Q open at this time of year?

Is it going to be really cold?  We arrive on the evening of the 31st (with friends).  We could 'rough it' and make do if we're a bit cold, but can't expect others to also.

Elsa, it does get REALLY cold as soon as the sun goes down, we have oil fired central heating, with 7 radiators throughout the villa, which also gives us loads of hot water for showering etc., and last year had it on from mid October. Not used it yet this year, but will have to soon, methinks.:-\:D
Gordy.
By the way anyone want to buy a centrally heated villa?? Seriously!!

P.S. Snow visible on the mountains as you look over towards Antalya direction 8)
