Whilst dining at one of the restaurants, meaning hello? in Turkish,on the night of 11/07/2007 at approx. 2240hours,two local gentlemen on the promenade drew attention to a couple of fast moving lights in the night sky. They travelled in the night sky from the Fethiye direction towards the top end of the promenade,a land distance of about 6 miles,in a few seconds. They came to an abrupt halt above the far right of the promenade, one slightly nearer and higher than the other. Both gave off a bright red glow and looked like a diamond elongated slightly. Many people saw them, and the restaurant owner simply said Ufos. The following night, near to midnight,at least seven of these objects took up the same area at the far end of the promenade. Was anyone else in the vicinity at the time or has anyone heard of a rational explanation for this occurence?Perhaps the Turkish airforce?? Anyone taken photos?

Elaine,

First of all I think there is a post somehwere on a similar sighting in Calis. If you do a search at the bottom of the page you might find some info.

Secondly would you mind introducing yourself - we are all nosey on here and like to know who we are talking to.

Cheers

Stu
