Not for the faint-hearted, or lame brains!!
« on: December 03, 2007, 15:46:22 PM »
I have been getting asked to set a "Brainstormer" of a quiz for all the "Anoraks" out there in Calis/ Fethiye, for some time now, & have finally gotten around to start putting one together.
The quiz will follow a simple format; 45 VERY DIFFICULT questions, a maximum of 10 teams, each team to consist of no more than 4 players, {Strictly applied}.
To get around local "gambling laws", a "Donation" of Ytl 20 per team, is asked for, which will form part of the prize, & will be given to the winners, along with a frameable certificate, to be donated to a named charity of their choice.
There will also be a couple of "Liquor" prizes, details of which will be announced on the night.

Date of quiz will be Sunday Dec.23rd At Franken Koshem Restaurant, near Yakamoz, time 20.45 prompt.

Come on down, all you Smart A*$ses, get your big heads around this one, and let's see how clever you really are :o: :):D

Gordy, P.S. if I don't receive at least 6 team entries, quiz will be postponed, and monies refunded.

My 'Anorak' was confiscated at Gatwick yesterday as it was 'overweight'  ;) but they didn't confiscate my bottle of Laphroaig :D

Pete, your'e a man of real taste and you spelled it right too :D. I've been meaning to ask you if your log-on name is just a name or were you really into canal boats [?].
Cheers

Ken, yes we did own a narrowboat for a few years but then the spell of Turkey took over and we eventually had to sell the boat. It was wonderful while we had it! and we have lovely memories of the times that we spent on it! Unfortunately there are not too many canals in Turkey!
Pete  ;)
