Strange one this Calvin - from my experience it depends on which Greek Island, or more to the point which Turkish return point.
Fethiye don't seem interested (their kiosk is too high to see what you are carrying!) whereas Kas can limit you to 2 litres each, and have been known to confiscate.
On the positive side, there's always a good selection of import brands in Kas bars
