You can now see who is on CBF at the bottom of the main forum page, this is one of the modifications we removed when we did a fresh install of the forum software. One of them was causing the bugs we experienced, such as edited topics locking themselves and jumping into new sections. We will add them all back in one at a time - possibly a week apart - so we can try and isolate which one was causing that. You can expect to see things like the events calendar and avatars (personal photos) return as and when.
Your privacy is our concern (not much though to be honest) and if you would prefer not to show up in the active users section, there is now an option in your profile (link: top right of all forum pages) where you can elect to remain hidden from other members.
One note of caution with that - due to the number of idiots in recent months, it is now a requirement that you give your name and surname when registering. If you change anything in your profile, you will need to enter both your names too - even if that wasn't a requirement when you originally joined CBF.
