KTHY Flights suspended

Ercan airport KTHY base all flights today are still grounded @ 1700 hrs

Yes i was told flights not leaving Ercan due to a strike but was also told a flight left Dalaman today this was reported to a friend at the office in Fethiye about an hour ago.

Hey ho still waitin for an offical announcement:D but from most Turks the word is that it has merged with another company and  the government is bailing them out !!

this webiste is reporting that kthy will sign a contract today with atlas jet in a 50-50 partnership that will last for five years things are looking up

Supposedly this has gone ahead. Flights resumed today from N Cyprus at 15.00.

This announcement was made an hour ago----------- looks like the deal will be signed sealed and delivered today

Cyprus Turkish Airline staff today went to court to stop the deal with Atlas.Everything seems to be at a standstill now. Website should give details.
