Abromowich finds his wallet

Well, Well, what a surprise, Chelsea try to buy the premier league again!

Here's hoping Man Utd or Arsenal win it. with players like Giggs, Scholes, Wiltshire,Nasri, who play with pride and passion for their clubs week in week out, and not for their bank accounts.

Chelsea, millions in debt, now pay approx £70 million for 2 players, sad is not the word:(:-\

If Chelsea get the commitment from Torres that Liverpool did, he should be on his way to Real Madrid in no time. Glad the Reds made a big profit on him, that can compensate them for the time he sat out injured. He seemed loyal enough to them then, when he was drawing his huge wage and watching from the stands, followed by a loyal time where he couldn't hit a cow on the backside with a banjo. Best off without him and I agree with Des, big money only buys (at best) short term success - followed by a breakdown caused by too many huge egos, followed by further big money being needed. Both Ferguson & Wenger's major players were mainly not £30 million (or even £50 million) signings, they cost either nothing or not very much. Ask Man U fans who they'd rather have done without - through the ranks Scholes or £30 million signing Ferdinand.

Come on you know it makes sense Rodney....... :D

When I ran my business (fresh food across the UK) if anyone said what a load of crap - my staff were trained to respond with: could you please be a little bit more scientific and specific  with the details if you wouldn't mind?

I wonder if this is one of the last throws of the dice by Ambromovich to win the Champions League, before he packs up his tent in West London and buys a new club in mother Russia to achieve the same ambition before the World Cup Finals in Russia?

:DYou lot make me laugh, Abramovitch has been there seven years now and everyone still thinks he's short term, how many time have Man U been taken over in that time?
How many times have Man U held the transfer record?? many times!
Why are man U fans still bringing up Giggs and Scholes? wheres the new talent coming through the ranks? if man U had bought a decent player this week you would have been more than happy:D

Des if you want to argue about debt look at the Man U finances:D

Emile Heskey spotted in Newcastle, although reports suggest he was aiming for Middlesbrough
