Stuck for Ideas?
« on: May 13, 2011, 21:05:00 PM »
I often buy fruit & veg in Calis/Fethiye markets because they are seasonal & look gorgeous.  Once I get home apart from doing the same tried & tested recepies I often get stuck for new ideas for meals.
I've just come across this site:-
http://www.abelandcole.co.uk/recipes
It has some lovely sounding recipes - mainly vegetable based.
Globe Artichokes are in abundance now - I never buy them cos I don't know what to do with them.....I do now!
Same with Aubergines - I always buy them because they look nice but I'm always disappointed with the bland, watery taste - hopefully some of the recipes will make me change my mind.
I hope it may be of use[?]

ooh, thanks for sharing. Next time we meet in the market we can compare recipes instead of bedding!
