CBF Football Compy - all Proceeds to 3Cs Charity
« on: August 19, 2011, 14:59:09 PM »
We (well Karaokemark mainly) have come up with a bit of fun for the forum footie fans to show their knowledge and make some money for the Calis Children's Charity at the same time.

Fairly simple rules - you choose your predicted top scorer for all 4 English leagues for 2011/12 season and write them below. You then pay the entrance fee of £5 by going here and paying £5: http://www.caliscarnival.com/en/donate.html

Come back here and tell Mark you paid it, and the person who's 4 choices collectively score the most goals, wins the special prize of a meal for two in one of Calis's fine restaurants (which one to be confirmed but it is safe to say not Hamburger 24).

In the event of a tie, the winner will be the person who's Premiership choice plays for the team that finished lower in the final league standings. Closing time for entries is exactly a week today - 3pm next Friday 26th August.

Please support 3Cs and CBF and join the fun - thanks!

For those of us who know nothing whatsoever about football, maybe a list of potential scorers would be a help!!

I have another idea which was put to me last week -
you have all the English league teams to pick from, Every week you pick one team and predict win or loose, you can only pick the team once during the competition, so everyweek you pick a different team.

if your prediction is wrong you are out til the next competition starts, if you are correct you go through to next weeks round of predictions.

Everybody pays £5/10 whatever and the winner is the one left at the end 8)

percentage goes to said charity ;)
