Does anyone know if there is shop in Gunlabasi that sells electric blankets ,and before i get K.K.O.B.s answer of Yes where abouts please and roughly how much.

I bought one at the cheap shop near the canal opposite where the temperature/humidity board is (Tuesday market area). It was 17TL 2 and half years ago. We only used it till we got a UK one. The Turkish one gets hot fast and you could use as a large simmering hob, the UK one is so slow to warm up, I can wait over an hour and its barely warm. Maybe both are faulty.....

Ive heard some nasty stories about turkish electric blankets.

It will be a very hot bed and not for the right reasons $:-\$
