COMPULSORY HEALTH CARE FOR RESIDENCY
« on: January 19, 2012, 10:40:12 AM »
Hi everyone,

I have been reading the 18 pages on this Forum which deal with this issue. Excellent discussion!!

I am still confused.

I am applying for residency ONLY to have my TV and phone in my name as I understand that I could be held responsible for the debt of the person whose name they are currently in.

I only visit for two weeks every two months.

I don't need residency otherwise but have decided to do so to make sure my property is safe.

By taking out this residency next week, even though I have NHS cover and my own private health cover do I have to have a compulsory medical and join the Turkish Health Care scheme as a result of applying for Turkish Residency.

It appears clear for those who do live there and do not return to the UK but not for my likes.

Can anyone help with this one?

I am very worried that I am opening a can of worms here and that the goal posts are moving.

Many thanks
Titch
