I think that you are allowed to offset any maintenance/ repairs/rates / electric etc agsinst your rental income, simular to the schemeopperated by revenue in uk,also I thought you are allowed to keep around £900.00 before tax payable, I feel sure someoine will correct this and offer an update,On our rental the charges out way all the rental income and we don't even use the appartment it ourselves.
