Property transfer
« on: February 12, 2012, 10:16:58 AM »
I know I've read on here on this subject before but I dont recall a conclusive answer.
I bought my property in Calis in 2004, when I was single, since when I married in 2009. The property is currently in my sole name and I would like to arrange to transfer either 50% or possibly all title in the property to my wife.
Would anyone with experience here please advise as to the best way forward.

As far as I know you have to sell it to them and then pay the property tax.I don't think money has to be exchanged but you would still pay the tax.
